I am thankful that my family, from birth through today, has never gone without nourishment because of poverty, lack of local places to shop, or have been denied service because of bigotry. It is easy to take for granted the things we have always known, but I know my experience is not worldwide or even nationwide.
May all of our tables be bountiful.
